CHARITABLE RECEIPT POLICY

Units requiring receipts for donors must send the funds to the Provincial League including the name and address of the donor.  All cheques must be made payable to the Alberta Army Cadet League.

The Provincial Treasurer will return a cheque for the donation amount back to the corps within 2 business days.

Receipts are issued once a year in January by the Provincial Secretary and are sent to the address supplied with the donation.

Receipts will only be issued for donations of $20.00 or greater.

No receipts will be issued for donations in kind due to the complex rules that CRA has established for non monetary donations.
